About Maamacare

A multimillion dollar Nutrition Food Project planned earlier as a commercial venture now converted into a not-for-profit philanthropic project dedicated to the People of Uganda.
The UN & national reports stated acute level of malnutrition and hidden hunger causing various sicknesses in the poverty line population.

This prompted a change from the commercial motive of the project towards the humanitarian cause. As a result Maama Care Foundation is taking over this project from the Brooklyn Group.

This would mean thousands of people will now benefit healthy food at affordable costs.

This nutritious food is suitable for population at large

but more to pregnant mothers, infants, school going children, elderly & sick, diabetics, heart, HIV/TB, post-surgery recovery patients etc.

This ready-to-eat nutritious food is most ideal for disaster & emergency situations like floods, earthquakes, landslides and for Refugee Settlement Camps & Dry Ration for Armed Forces.

Mission

Maama Care Foundation believes as many others, that adequate nutrition is a human right for everybody. It is for sure that the role of specialty products is more important as a basic daily food in the battle against malnutrition or “hidden hunger”.

Maama Care Foundation is based in Kampala and backed by promoters with 35 years of entrepreneurial & philanthropic experience.

Kampala

A beautiful green city located in the laps of seven hills at the height of 3900 feet above sea-level.

This elevation makes the climate very pleasant throughout the year, ranging 22° to 34°C. Almost 8 months of rains keep the city greener.

The Equator passes thru Uganda, and the tropical climate supports growth of one of the finest, tastiest & sweetest fruits and vegetables.
